The Village of Berwyn will be holding another By-Election. Nomination forms are available at the Village office and will soon be made available for download on the Village website.
The nomination Period Begins, on December 13th, 2022.
Nomination Day is January 16th, 2023.
Election Day is February 13th, 2023.
Quite certain the "circus merry-go-round" photo advertisement for a by-election is the most inappropriate post I have ever seen a municipality use. As a governing body you are held to a higher standard than this. Perhaps that is why no one wishes to engage in local politics anymore when jokes such as this are made. Social media, websites, and communications are supposed to be in a professional manner- ones such as this is appalling. Maybe that is why no one wishes to remain on your council for any extended period of time, and why good ones are leaving.
